Summaries, not transcripts: A receipt records the topic, strengths, and struggles of a session, written without quoting the student. The receipt itself contains no transcript.
Flagged-only access, logged every time: A teacher can open a transcript only when a session is flagged. Every unlock is recorded on the receipt, and what opens is an excerpt, not the student's full history.
Teachers hold the dial: Help levels are enforced on the server for every single message. Nothing a student types can raise their own access.
Read-only LMS access: CourseWing's Google Classroom access is read-only, and it never asks for Drive. It reads courses, assignments, announcements, and materials; it writes nothing back.
No secrets from students: Students are told in-product exactly what their teachers can see. If they ask the tutor, it answers honestly.
